BID MANAGER
Location: Head-Office. Lytham St-Annes.
Job Purpose:
The Head of Bid Management is responsible for delivering a timely, quality service in the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and contracts, to internal colleagues and directly to prospective clients.
Objective:
1.Ensure timely and high quality production and submission of sales proposals, formal tenders and customer contracts.
2.Develop ongoing process enhancements to become more effective.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Identification of the skills and capabilities required for the bid and contract fulfilment - from Inenco, Nifes or from third parties if required
2.Arranging Bid (and/or bid stage) initiation meetings
3.Structure the bid response according to requirements
4.Assessing required bid resources and putting together the bid team to input to the response
5.Co-ordinating Bid/No Bid reviews and making output available to parties involved
6.Creating and managing winning responses to ITT/RFPs from initiation through to completion, submission and closure
7.Holding fact finding meetings with sales and operations and translating the output into the required bid response
8.Confirming that the response is deemed acceptable from the perspectives of Commercial / Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and that it is authorised at Bid Approval
9.Arranging Business Approval Review and Contract Approval Review
10.Developing and maintaining cost models\ matrices to support all bid responses
11.Supporting the sales execs./ BDMs on bid negotiation where required
12.Producing the Bids and establishing a Bid Library
13.Working with Proposal team to develop Bespoke proposal requests
14.Proactively seeking new bid opportunities from warm leads via Inenco’s existing client/ prospect base as well as cold leads via websites, European Journal, etc
